About biotech ink 
Dr. Susan Caldwell founded Biotech Ink in January 2005. Susan has worked in biopharmaceutical and medical device research, development, manufacturing, and medical writing since 1987. Her academic background includes a PhD in medical microbiology and immunology, and she has extensive postdoctoral training in human infectious diseases. In 1995, she moved from preclinical research into clinical research and regulatory writing. Since then, Susan has directed medical writing departments at five life-science companies and at Biotech Ink.
 Susan has built a network of many contract writers, editors, publishers, and proofreaders. Among them are physicians, research scientists, medical device engineers, biostatisticians, medical monitors, regulatory affairs and drug safety professionals, and data management experts. In addition to providing writing services, Susan can assemble and supervise a project team from this pool to tackle big medical writing jobs, such as NDAs or BLAs as eCTDs.
